Dead Battery Sound

Well, I have a confession to make, I got the dang thing on the market and it has a dead battery in it. Ha! Anyway, I have been getting loads of emails from one of my clients who bought this thing and now is having trouble getting it fixed. Apparently, there is a problem with the fuse that blows when the power goes out. I will show you how to recognize this warning and fix it for your customer before he calls a plumber or electrician to have the darn thing fixed.

The first step is to take a closer look at the item that shows the sign of a dead battery. Note the color and size of the fuse that blows - normally it will be white or green green. If the fuse is blown all the way out, you will notice that the sound like a bursting car battery is heard. If the item has received 0 likes on its first post or is completely dead, then this is a good thing because you can figure out what is wrong.

First off, check the battery would have only had a few days of charge. If so, the reason is most likely due to overcharging. This is common for new products and you really have to watch out. If the battery would only have had a few hours of charge, you may want to consider trying another brand or model. A battery would have had time to settle and have the proper charge level for a good number of posts before it would receive a negative charge.

Also, if the negative charge is not from overcharging but rather from something else, check to see that the battery would have only had few hours of charge and it is not being replaced because the model is out of date. It will most likely be an older model and therefore will not have the latest technology available. If you received 0 likes on your first post, don't fret; it only takes a few days for the post to be officially gone.

The other reason a battery would not have received a positive or negative rating is if it is just plain old bad. A battery would most likely need to be charged or recharged at least once every six months. If the battery did not receive a like rating on its first post, you might want to consider exchanging it out for a newer model. A battery would probably have received a like rating after six months or so and then would probably have gone on to receive several likes on posts after this point. A battery would also need to be recharged in a few weeks after it was purchased.

Here are a few other common reasons for a battery not receiving a like rating when it first arrives or after a few months of use. The most likely reason why this would happen is due to water. If the battery was left out in the rain or simply left out in the cold, it would eventually lose its charge. If you are using a cellular phone with a Bluetooth adapter, it is extremely important to make sure that the battery is charged whenever it is powered up. You can usually tell if it is not charging because it will turn white and start to emit a low hum. This is called an idle battery and is common because the battery does not receive enough juice to power the device.
